CCI is incubating research to leverage decentralized technology in response to the failures of current financial and social welfare systems, which have excluded arts workers and nontraditional work communities. Our research initiatives aim to leverage the power of community, in conjunction with decentralized tech infrastructure, to provide alternative systems that can help fill gaps in the social safety net, meet peoples’ needs, and expand access to basic human rights.
